SWS was a T-I project. It involved building a new office facility, demolition & removal of floor sections and demolition of wall sections, installation of new roll up doors and dock levelers to accommodate shipping and receiving in an existing building. It was an easy project. The total duration was less than 3 months. The original building was built by ARCO Design / Build.
The plan was for me to do the build out and transition into another project on the adjoining property to build another 650,000 square foot warehouse. The new project was scheduled to begin March 1, 2009. The new project was never canceled it just kept getting postponed.
This was not a tilt-up building it was a precast building.
Doing this project was a good place to spend the winter.
This was an ARCO Design / Build Project.
