This was a complicated and challenging job but it was fun to build. Because the design to build relationship required a lot of planning and coordination to keep the job going, no one trade could complete any phase of their work without being dependent on another trade being ready to move in immediately behind them and transition in and out smoothly allowing work to continue.
We had several of our major sub-contractors go bankrupt during construction of this project. We lost our Site Contractor, Plumbing Contractor, Mason Contractor and our Concrete Contractor. In addition we lost several smaller contractors.
With the obstacles that we had to overcome I am very proud of our outcome on this project. I was with Kajima Construction Services at the time.
