Academic Support Building
Appalachian State University
Boone, North Carolina
This was a very challenging project.  Our biggest obstacle was the weather.  We had a very harsh winter to deal with.  Other projects being built at the same time either shut down until spring or delayed breaking ground until spring.  One thing for sure, if you did not have your foundations in before the October 1, you were not going to get them in before spring.

It was an extremely cold winter.  I did not shut my job down.  I devised a plan during the summer to keep my job open during the winter.  There is too much to write down in a brief summary.  If you are interested I will be glad to tell you more.

My position on this project was Site Project Manager and Superintendent.

Below are a few pictures of the project.  As I find more pictures I will scan them in and add to the page.

This page is still under construction.

This was a multi prime project.

This was a government funded and regulated project.

This was an MB Kahn Project.
